These samples are available for quality assurance and educational purposes. QAES samples can be used for training, corrective actions, method development, examining method equivalence, and more. Participants receive samples along with recommended Instructions for Analysis. Included is also a report containing target values, standard deviations, and other statistics that can be used for the purposes above and to evaluate a laboratory's performance.
