Organizational Memberships

AOAC offers two types of organizational memberships that allow corporations, government agencies, and academic institutions to support the Association's mission of advancing the global chemistry and microbiology analytical community by promoting methods validation and quality measurements.

Organizational Memberships are held in the name of the organization and individual member benefits are transferable.

AOAC encompasses 16 sections worldwide, representing four continents and over 90 countries outside of the United States. Sections provide opportunities for participants to share information, build professional contacts, expand leadership skills and gain practical management experience.

Awards Program

The AOAC INTERNATIONAL Awards Program recognizes significant contributions to the analytical science community and to AOAC itself.  AOAC presents these awards at its Annual Meeting each fall, providing worldwide recognition to the recipients.

Networking & Resources

AOAC members have access to numerous networking opportunities and a wide range of resources.

Individual Membership

AOAC Members are the heart of our organization.  Together, we are a group of highly trained experts in our fields and provide our knowledge and experience to make this world a safer place. These individuals are laboratory managers, analytical chemists, microbiologists, toxicologists, forensic scientists, management executives and much more. Membership and active participation in AOAC INTERNATIONAL is an opportunity for professionals to demonstrate their dedication to analytical excellence.

Individual Memberships are held in the name of the individual, not the organization they work for, and are non-transferable.

Technical Divisions (Optional)

AOAC offers two specific technical divisions to our members. Each technical division is field specific and provides members a forum for networking and collaboration within their specialty area. Division membership is a unique vehicle for making the AOAC your association and for tailoring programs and activities to meet your particular professional concerns. Membership in AOAC's Technical Divisions is optional and is in conjunction with individual, student or organizational memberships.
